Favorite Happy Hours in New Orleans

Favorite Happy Hours in New Orleans

Everybody loves a good happy hour, and the Boombox team is certainly no different. We encourage you to check out these four fantastic New Orleans happy hours, that all occur every day of the week!

Steven’s Favorite

La Casita — Every day 3–7pm

La Casita is an Uptown favorite offering handcrafted Mexican cuisine and splendid cocktails. The happy hour is fantastic, offering $4 margaritas, $5 sangria and mojitos, and $2 beers. The special offerings don't just end at drinks though. During happy hour, enjoy $2 simple tacos (carnitas, beef or chicken) and half off queso, salsa and guacamole.

Superior Seafood — Every day 4–6:30pm

Superior Seafood has one of the cities best happy hours daily from 4–6:30 pm. It’s conveniently located right off the streetcar line at the intersection of St. Charles and Napoleon. With 2 for 1 frozen French 75s and mojitos, 1/2 off house wine and $3 draft beer, it’s the perfect spot for locals or visitors to wrap up the end of a long day. To top it off they offer 50 cent gulf oysters, which is the ideal happy hour appetizer in a city that is known for its fresh seafood.

Domenica — Every day 2–5pm

Domenica, which resides in the Roosevelt Hotel in the heart of the CBD, is a great spot to enjoy 1/2 off pizza, wine, and cocktails in a classy-but-comfortable setting. The bar overlooks the elegant dining room and is a great place to people watch and drink some wine from their extensive wine list. Their world-class pizza selection includes clam, numerous Italian cheeses, and a selection of in-house cured meats. Sit back, relax, and enjoy!

Bombay Club — Weekdays 4–7pm, Weekends 3–7pm

One of my favorite bars in the French Quarter is the Bombay Club. It’s dark, wood covered walls transport you to a 1920s French Quarter. During happy hour, you can get $4 small bites, such as boudin rangoons (yum!), pork belly tacos, or black-eyed pea hummus. Also $6 special cocktails include classics such as Tom Collins, Whiskey Sour, or Churchill Martini.
