Communify + Sons of a Saint Branding Workshop

This past August we held a branding workshop for some of the boys at Son of a Saint, a local non-profit located in New Orleans. Son of a Saint is one of those incredible organizations dedicated to enhancing the lives of fatherless boys through mentorship, emotional support, development of life skills, and exposure to constructive and positive experiences. 

For us, mentoring is a way to give back. Not only that, it helps us become better creatives because we have to really think about how to bring another person’s vision to life. Dustin said it best when he said, “I love those moments when you’re working with one of the mentees and something you say gives them an “aha” moment.”

The boys showed up with specific businesses in mind for branding, like a clothing company, a gaming platform, and an architectural firm, to name a few. While others were merely looking for a way to brand themselves for college applications so that they can stand out from the crowd. 

From start to finish this workshop did more than just inspire the boys, it inspired us as well. And we can’t wait to have them back!
